Reservations A $1000 deposit per person will reserve a place for you on the trip of your choice. We accept payment by personal or cashiers check only (or bank wire transfers from foreign countries). The balance is due 90 days before the start of your trip. Reservations made less than 90 days before the trip departure must be paid in full at the time of booking. Land costs are commissionable. As soon as we've received your $1000 per person deposit, we'll send you a packet of materials including a reservation form, detailed personal equipment list, and further trip information and reading list. Cancellation If written notice of cancellation is received up to 90 days before departure, your payment will be refunded, minus a $200 cancellation fee. If you cancel 61-89 days before departure, the cancellation fee is 50% of the trip price. For cancellations within 60 days of departure, the trip payment is not refundable. If for any reason Arctic Treks must cancel your trip, a full refund is given. Most trips require a minimum of 3 people to be run at the listed price. Because of the long lead time required to make our complex trip logistic commitments, and the unlikeliness of filling spots cancelled at shorter notice, we must strictly enforce our cancellation policy. We also reserve the right to change dates, trip locations, mode of trip, and other trip details because of weather, flight schedule changes, or any other conditions beyond our control. To help with these and other unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance, including coverage for medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
